Do’s

1.Please observe rules and regulations prescribed by the mela authority
2.Abstain from using polythene and plastic as it is unhealthy for environment
3.Throw all non – degradable litter, empty bottle, tins, polythene bags, etc in dustbin
4.Observe the sanctity of Holy sites.
5.While taking photographs respect local culture, traditions and privacy
6.If any unclaimed item / baggage is found, immediately inform the nearest police check post.

Don’ts

1.Avoid using pollutants such as detergents and soaps in the Holy Ganga.
2.Don’t leave burning cigarettes or make open fire in the Mela areas
3.Don’t consume alcohol, other intoxicants and non – vegetarian food in the mela areas.
4.Do not tempt local children by offering them food stuff or sweets.
5.Keep sound level of music system low to avoid noise pollution.
6.Do not encourage beggars.
